Experience that informs my work
I’m Rob Chambers, an award-winning geography educator and experienced education consultant with more than 25 years’ experience in teaching, curriculum and subject leadership. Most recently, I spent five years as National Geography Lead across eight secondary schools within a national multi-academy trust, supporting curriculum development, assessment, teaching and professional learning.
I received the Royal Geographical Society’s Ordnance Survey Award for excellence in secondary geography education in 2019.
I now work with schools, trusts and education organisations on curriculum, assessment, professional learning and educational content, alongside personalised geography tutoring for individual students. My approach combines deep classroom experience with evidence-informed practice, practical support and an understanding of different educational contexts.

"The curriculum and resources that Rob has produced are phenomenal. They show a wealth of subject knowledge, carefully considered and cleverly sequenced curriculum choices, all supported by exceptional booklets, assessment material and teacher support from KS3 through to KS5."
Lucy Durrant, Lead Practitioner, St Ivo Academy.
"I would not hesitate to recommend Rob. He is, by far, one of the very best geography educators I know. Rob is exceptionally well respected across the geography education community and has done a huge amount to raise the profile of the subject nationally."
Mike Smith, Curriculum Director of Geography at Meridian Trust
"Rob’s strategic approach to curriculum and assessment design is one of his standout strengths. He has a strong grasp of how to build coherent, well sequenced curricula that support long term learning, and he ensures that assessment is purposeful, aligned, and used effectively to inform both teaching and improvement."
