Supporting curriculum and qualification change

The coming period will be an important one for Geography education. The public consultation expected in autumn 2026 will provide the first opportunity to examine the proposed changes in detail and begin preparing for a revised national curriculum, followed by new GCSEs and A levels.

These reforms create opportunities to strengthen disciplinary thinking, climate and sustainability education, fieldwork, progression and real-world relevance. I can help organisations interpret emerging requirements, contribute informed subject expertise and translate developing proposals into coherent, accurate and classroom-ready content that supports teachers and enhances learning. Supporting qualification development, assessment design and subject expert review
Reviewing products, resources and prototypes for curriculum fit, classroom usability, clarity and educational value.

Checking educational content, including AI-assisted materials, for accuracy, curriculum alignment, quality and suitability for learners.
